There are lots of genuine, honestly interesting people here. This is an eclectic group that attracts all sorts. I've had wonderful conversations that lasted a day, traded remarks that were fun or funny that were just a message or two, and gotten to know people well enough to call them online friends.
I've also made some real life friends that I'd never have met but are wonderful blessings to have in my life.

Of course there are also guys who are looking for a woman--any woman and they aren't picky--who's willing to get them off.

The second sort deserve to be ignored unless that's what you are also looking for (and I have to assume there are women who are since those messages keep getting sent.)
If you are of the first type then don't send a message that will make you look like the second. Think before you hit 'submit' and ask yourself if that's how you want to present yourself.
