Already 7K words into the novel I wanted to do as NaNoWriMo.

Just couldn't resist, my fingers were itching to reach the keyboard and my thoughts were going to make my head explode if I didn't get them out on the screen.

Well, whatever you get done before NaNo, just add 50k to it and make that your goal.

I'm cheating a little as well.

Not in word count, but I'm not doing a novel I'm going to be uploading the word count of all the stories I hope to write during November.

In the upload your novel I'm calling it an "anthology" its really not as each story will be published on its own, but its still writing x-amount of words every night.

Much rather have 7k words I was inspired to write, even if early than have a Nano "win".

Nano is a nudge to write. You were self nudging. You > Nano, esp. if you keep at it through Nano month.
