I Challenge the Moderators To Be Honest And To Stop The Censorship

Hey folks, what gives here. On Saturday just past I posted a thread on this board and it was removed at some point in time later by the moderator.

The forum rules clearly state that this board is an exercise in Free Speech. But if my message was removed doesn't this mean that there was CENSORSHIP!!!! Freedom of Speech means what it says, in it's plain and ordinary meaning. My thread was sexual in nature and threatened no one or anything.

So one must question (and I hope you do too) what the real hidden agenda is here and if there are unspoken limits, who is setting them, for what reason and why aren't we told about them.

I put forth a personal challenge to all moderators to justify to us all why they are acting as censors when the Waiver Notice clearly states otherwise.

Be brave Mr./Ms. Moderator. Don't get shy on us now.

I don't venture over here very often, but this thread caught my eye.

Maybe what you should do, before you start pointing fingers, is email the moderators asking why?

Have you done that? No? So? WTF is making accusations going to do.

How do you know they removed it because of content.

First of all, there are a lot of gliches in the new system, and the tech administrator works very hard to deal with them effectively.
I have had problems of this nature, and so have many others, but you can't start declaring that the moderators have a hidden agenda.

I happen to think this may have been an accident unless you made reference to anything illegal.... (underage sex...etc...).

So, take the time to email them, and find out the TRUTH before you jump on anyones ass about dissing you.

Take Care, Starfish.

My two cents worth

for what it's worth I sometimes believe that the moderators don't go far enough, particularly in concern to underage fantasies. Even if it is only in the mind, I believe that abuse starts from somewhere.
My advice to the writer is find out why first before pointing fingers. If you were axed with good reason, then good riddance!

Hey STARFISH, I, too proudly live in the United States of America and the Great State of Ohio--you were right on! As far as Maxine goes, I'm not completely sure what that is all about, I don't agree, but maybe you're right. Actually, there is a difference between reality and fantasy and I could give some good examples using my girlfriend as the example. I doubt the line gets crossed, at least not often and if it does, I don't think it has anything to do with posting thoughts here or elsewhere. It may even be that living out a fantasy, by writing about it is a good outlet, rather than potentially living it out. Tough call and I, as Dennis Miller would say, could be wrong!

You may have been totally misjudged on this one, but tell us what the topic of your post was. This may clear things up a bit
