I can't sleep again

Journal, blog, talk into a voice recorder. Join insomniacs anonymous. Believe me I am a consumate insomniac to the point where I get bleery most days. Writing helps a lot. If all else fails jog around the blog and drink something warm, have a soothing bath or read Satre's "Psychology of the Imagination" that works every time.
 
I couldnt sleep last night, so i took the advice i get from everyone all the time....Do not go on the computer just try to relax yourself into sleep. :mad: It didnt work!
 
I slept great for about 2 hours.. But then I wokd up and have been ever since..

I just love the sandy eyeballed, blurry thinking, headachy feeling of not enough fucking sleep.

I ended up reading and watching the Olympic reruns and waking up the cat. (Yeah, so I was rude to the Fuzzy Domme! But if I'm not allowed to snooze, neither is she!)

dont you hate when that happens and nothing works. and your mind starts playing tricks on you.
 
Well, I went to bed and managed to sleep a total of three and a half hours. I say a total because I think I woke up at least four times.

Folks, believe me when I say I sympathize. :rose:

Maybe someone should start an insomniac's thread in the Cafe so we can all commiserate whenit strikes.
 
I have tried everything for insomina (even read the dictionary). The only thing that works for me when I get like that is

1. put up with it. That's what I normally do. I surf, read, write or take a bath.

2. take a benedry. If I REALLY need sleep, like I haven't slept in days, or I've got a big day the next day.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....benedryl.....my own person miricle cure.

Right now, insomnia is not really what I am. I spent the last few days on heavy Rx drugs that kept me asleep for most of the 24 hour day so....my sleep patterns are way off.
