I spent my whole day defrosting a "Frost Free" refridgerator.

Piece of shit, I noticed it was dripping into the fridge part, but didnt know why. I took a panel off in the freezer and found about an inch of Ice. I dont know why its there. Its a newwer fridge. SO I mihgt be trading it ion on a newwer model.


I hate Kenmores!

ya know, if this ever comes up again, get a camera, or video, and shot the fridge "frosted" and then note how long it takes you to defrost your frost free refrig. then take copy of said images and mail them to the manufacture, asking for an explination. Be sure to tell them that the images are digital and that you have an email or website of your own.

Just a thought but the seals, might be leaking or the system may be out of time. Frost free's warm up to melt the ice, and if it is out of time it may not have the cooling turned off as it is trying to melt the ice!
