Amen to that...
This tragedy makes you realize how petty some of our grievances are, and ironically, how lucky we are to be here. So many have given their lives to protect the high minded ideals this country's built on, and in recent hours, to save the lives of strangers.
I have never felt so profoundly all that it means to be an American.

This is what I've been saying (pettiness) has to end, before we can get right with ourselves, each other and the world.
So many won't get that lesson out of this.
