It's common sense. If there was only one true love per person, the odds that you'd meed that person would be close to minimal. There are six biillion people out there. Three billion of those in your preferred gender. About a third in somewhat compatible age. One billion people. And yet, people find love every day.

I presume you are speaking of romantic or mating-type love. There are certainly many more important things than that, but I do believe basic real love is the most important thing in life; i.e., as in love that helps one live for others, love that is active and giving.

Romantically also I don't believe there's a special someone for everyone, or if there is it's just as likely you won't recognize them when they show up, or - someone else will have met them first.

I believe that those who try to place boundaries on love are only limiting their own lives and their own futures...

I believe that the greatest enemies of love are jealousy and posessiveness, for they turn the very depth of the emotion you feel into a negative force. I have never experienced anything that grew out of these two that was a positive in the end. Getting all mushy here for a minute...

I believe that love, the true unselfish kind of love, is the end-all be-all of existence.

I believe that no matter how mad you are at someone you love, before they walk out the door, tell them you love them, even if you're pissed as hell. You may not get another chance.

I believe that parents (although not all, there are some exceptions) are a treasure, just like our children. Cherish them while you can, because they won't always be with you.

Cry when you feel like it, don't hold back. There's absolutely nothing wrong, with crying. This is for the guys, too.

And its corollary, laugh when you feel like it, even if it's inappropriate and no one else will understand why you're laughing.

When given the chance to do something you've always wanted to do, forget being sensible, just for a minute, and do it, damn it.
