Luna sighed as she walked down the streets of Gotham. As a girl who worked as a secretary to Bruce Wayne, it was no wonder that she didn't have a car to get her from place to place. She sighed as she moved her brown hair from her face as her blunt bangs always fell into place. She was just on her break, going to the nearest Starbucks to grab a cup of coffee. She rolled her green eyes as she pulled the door open to Starbucks and walked inside slowly.

Everyone knew about the bank next door, but no one paid much attention to the imminent danger of what would happen if the Joker were to happen be there. Luna flicked her hair from her shoulder as she smoothed out her black pencil skirt. She rolled up her white blouse sleeves, and glanced down at her purple shiny heels. She liked the color purple.

Luna’s phone rang and when she answered it, it was her boss, Bruce Wayne. He was certainly attracted to her but the only way he seemed to know how to show his affections was through bossing her around. “Luna? Yeah, are you in Starbucks? Get me a non-fat latte will you? And one of those marble c—“ He never had a chance to finish his words as the wall that connected to the bank next door exploded. She gasped when the wall near her collapsed and out poured lackeys and Joker. “I gotta go.” She muttered into the cell phone before sliding it into her bra in her shirt. Hey. Luna didn’t have a purse on her, and no pockets. Where else would she put it.

"Well that's no good. I was actually plannin on dancing with Batsy. He must be tied up in traffic." The infamous Clown Prince of Crime chuckled and strode out through now smoking hole that had once been a wall. As almost always he was dressed in his signature purple suit, yellow shirt and green bow tie along with his purple fedora.

Joker looked, happy, happy in a dangerous sort of way that very few human beings could accomplish. The heavy sack of cash hefted over his shoulder was quickly relieved by one of his croonies as he pulled out his wallet and plucked a crisp hundred dollar bill before returning the wallet to the breast pocket of his coat and approaching the counter.

Leaning in close enough to bite the poor employee if he wanted a demented smile crossed his lips. "Suzy. Be a dear and whip up a moc- mach, carme, kamekameha, look big, chocolate, hot-" He glanced over his shoulder at one of his croonies. "Two shots or three?" When the croonie shrugged unsure what answer the Joker wanted.

The clown frowned for a moment but then his eyes settled over Luna visually sizing her up. "You, girl, c'mere."

Now Luna wasn't a stupid woman. She knew what was happening. People in the Starbucks had no idea what to do or what to say. Most of them ran out of the coffeeshop, others stayed behind but stayed near the wall, scared out of their minds.

Suzy blinked at him in fear "A mocha carmel latte espresso?" The girl behind the counter stammered as she watched him as his actions. Suzy started to go to the coffee maker to make what the Joker wanted. He wanted something, and she wasn't going to stop it, for fear of what he would do to her.

Luna raised an eyebrow as he looked over at her and told her to go over to him. Feeling her cellphone weigh in between her breasts, she walked over to the Joker in a slow manner. "Me?" Luna asked, pointing to herself as she followed him to the counter. "Also, I have a name." Luna added, narrowing her eyes at the purple-suited, white make up, green haired villian.

"Yes yes Suzy. You heard me. A venni very veechy Kamehameha! And step on you stupid sow!" He slammed c-note down on the counter watching her scurry to bring him his drink, but only for a moment, the same moment was spent watching the others. Some running, others frozen in fear and at least one person who'd lived through a Joker seige before and simply didn't see the point in doing anything.

Then there was her. This woman who was oddly unafraid. "I thought you might have a name. Most people do you know. Now get over here Toots. I want to get a better look at you."

The rest of the gang was already loading up the escape van, it was a miracle that he could manage to make an escape with a vehicle that absurd, not just the speed but it looked like he'd stolen his van from Scooby Doo with all the bright colors. The joker only grinned madly caught up in moment.

Suzy jumped as she then scurried to make him his espresso shots. She quickly got set to work, drizzling the chocolate syrup over the coffee-caramel mixture in the small cup. She added a dollop of whipped cream ontop and made her way to the counter again, putting the three shots down.

Sure, there were people who have been through a Joker seige before and never once got up to help Luna who was boldly going against the Joker. She must be stupid to go to him, people who were watching the interactions between the two thought in their heads, but too afraid to tell him to stop.

"Now, don't you want to know my name?" Luna asked as she walked closer to him and stood infront of him, with just enough space that she deemed as her personal space. She wasn't stupid. If he was going to abduct her, she would rather do it willingly than unwillingly. Luna sighed as she pushed her brown hair behind her ear as she watched him, her green eyes locking onto his chocolate brown eyes. Luna has heard of him, and has seen him on the nightly news. It was interesting to say the least that he was right infront of her, talking to her.

As she approached the Joker paused just for a moment. Yeah there were people who ignored him, and while that was annoying to some degree but what was with this girl here, this one who didn't appear to be afraid of him at all. So interesting. Nothing like that boring rodent Suzy skittering like a bug on a hot plate.

Rodent. Rat with wings. Batsy! He needed to hurry things along now that he wasn't particularly interested in a dance with the Dork Knight, he was much more interested in this creature so she had his attention.

She was far closer to him than most people would ever dare and he rewarded her simply by leaning forward. Close enough that she could smell the candy on his breath as he walked around her. "No I don't actually care what your name is, but you're just going to keep making that whining noise with your mouth until you either tell me-" his voice dropped several octaves as he rested his chin on her shoulder "-or I strangle you".

Luna was more intruiged by him rather than afraid. Nothing to fear but fear itself, right? Luna had no friends, only her boss Bruce Wayne who seems to dote on her a lot. Luna would kindly deny his advances, considering she works for him and she doesn't want to take their friendship or relationship to a different level. Luna has always been intruiged by the most interesting people.

Luna bit her lower lip gently as he leaned forward. She took a quick inhale through her nostrils as she felt him move around her closely. Interesting that he was moving closer to him. She smelled a peppermint scent from his breath, which was surprising to her. Luna blinked as she felt him rest his chin on her. So he would strangle her if she continued to talk? Well, she wasn't fazed at all by his threats. At home, she wasn't treated correctly, so the threats seemed to not faze her at all. "Luna. My name is Luna Starr." Luna said, looking at him.

She wondered to herself briefly why the police hadn't come yet. Why the woman Suzy was staring at her so oddly that Luna was allowing his advances. Why the other bystanders were just watching their interaction. Why her uncle treated her like shit since her parents died, leaving no money for her, and all the money to him, plus the added fact that at 22 years old, this woman is still living at home, since all of her earned money from Bruce Wayne's company goes into her uncle's bank account.

Lastly, Luna wondered why he hasn't done anything to her yet. Joker would never take a captive. Why would he start now? She wasn't anything special.

"Luna Star?" Joker paused tasting the name and smacking his lips noisily for a moment while that insane grin widened to the point where it seemed to threaten to split the clown's face. He wanted to spend more time here but the distant sound of sirens could now be heard. "Luna Star." He repeated then reached down between her legs scooping her ass up until she was forced to stand on the very tips of her toes. "I get it, your moon makes you a star!" He threw back his head and howled with laughter.

""Uh Boss." The largest henchmen whispered but his boss continued to laught for a moment until the louder sirens snapped him free.

"Oh. Yeah. Grab the Venni Venti Vechi Kamehamehas. I think this is gonna be a long night. Hopefully without the Dark one." He turned back towards Ms. Moon pulling an absurdly long revolver from his pants. He wasn't really aiming it at her as much as waving it around. "Blah blah, you're my hostage, blah get in the van." The clown usually only took hostages when Bats was close by but she'd caught his eye. The thing was hostage taking. . .benath him.

Luna nodded when he said her name with a nod. She blinked when he said her name again. She wondered briefly what he wanted. She gasped as he crudely grabbed her ass as she was on her toes in her heels. She blushed. How crude of him to do so. But....thinking on what he said...that was a compliment to her rather fine derierre.

The minion went over to the counter to grab the shots and made hteir way to the get-away van, parked right outside. Luna heard the sirens getting louder and louder. Luna raised a brow when he pulled out a revolver from his pants. How in the world did it stay in his bands.

Luna smirked when he said the blah blah you're my hostage. As if he really needed to make another scene or speech for that matter to take her into hostage. Luna knew that they would go back to his hideout. And then what? She be his captive forever? And Batman was nowhere to be found, so why did the Joker take such an interest into her. She nodded and looked him. "Lead the way to the get away car, master." Luna added sarcastically as she looked over at the insane comedic villian.

"You can call me Joker, or you can call me . . .no no, just Joker. Now come along Miss Moon Star." He licked his lips. "We'll figure out someway to entertain ourselves."

The clown started point the gun but the approaching wail meant there wasnt' enough time for him to play with her. Not just yet at any rate. So he swaggered to the van happily hardly even checking if Ms. Moon was behind him. She was clearly right behind him and so he lept into the back of the van.

As soon as she approached the van he'd grip her arm and yank her off her feet and into van just a split second before the driver floored it. The toadspittle with the coffee half helped, half manhandled the woman into a seat while Joker grinned at the scene behind them.

"Still no bats. This is going to be boring." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a sack apparently filled with jacks and bouncy balls. He tossed them out behind the car like caltrops blowing out most of the lead cars and spinning those into others ending in a fairly fantastic explosion.

"So Miss Moon Star. I must be doing something wrong because you're not even a little afraid. Don't think I'll kill you?"

"I already know your name." She blinked and narrowed her eyes at him when he licked his lips and added the second comment. Luna knew better than to say anything at all. She gasped when he pulled her into the van and felt the rush of the van speeding off into the main streets of Gotham City.

Luna narrowed her eyes at the man who was busy handing out the espresso to Joker as well as t he other minions all the while manhandling her into a seat beside the Joker. "Don't you touch me there." Luna demanded, glaring at the minion who had accidentally groped her bottom. The sirens were getting louder and louder behind them, giving the van a run for its money in a speed chase.

Luna heard the explosion and whipped her head to look at the back window to see the danger that was brewing out there. Not to mention the danger that was brewing in here. Luna turned her head to look over at the Joker. She raised an eyebrow. "I know you can kill me. Maybe that's why I'm not afraid." Luna answered with a small smirk on her face.

Joker canted his head slightly at the young and somewhat impish Miss Moon. "Didn't say could. Nope nope nope." He looked around the van the walls of which were covered in well some of them were clearly diabolical weapons, like the grenades with smiling faces. The Teddy Bears seemed harmless. Course so had those Jax. "Of course I could kill you." Using the barrel of his gun he lifted her skirt indecently high. "But then again you could kill me. So could. . .bout time he got here."

It was difficult to see the pursuer overhead but the clown had a sixth sense for these things. "I said you're not afraid I will kill you. Maybe you think you're already dead and there's just no point in struggling." He gripped her thigh as much for support as he leaned out somewhat precariously and took at at the Batman. "Believe me toots, there's always point in struggling."

He took the shot and damn did that thing have kick, the van rocked and he was knocked flat on his ass most likely having missed his target by a sizable margin.
