I have been posting in mad fits of lunacy.
My problem:
I try to close my eyes, but I can not ignore the stiumli.
EVERYWHERE I go I see The Bill of Rights, The Constitution, and (To a degree) Human rights absolutely shit upon.
Most people don't know about the DMCA.
Fewer know about the CDBTPA.
Even less have looked through and seen the USA Patriot act.
Tonight on the news... about 11 minutes ago, they came and they said that the FBI (Locally) now has the power to see everything you do online. Now, before you go and say "Eschelon" there's a difference. Eschelon won't be used against you in court. The news said briefly they could monitor online activities and LOG it, and then focus on the effect this would have.... on churches. Then they acted like this was the greatest thing ever... as long as they leave the Christian Churches ok (they (basically) said that it was ok to raid a mosque).
It's an Orwellian nightmare. We live in a world of surveliance, fighting a never-ending war against a highly publicized leader, and the gov't tells us that if we give up our rights, we can be "safe". All they need to do now is to remove words from the dictionary.
Watch the news, it sounds almost exactly like my favorite /. post of recent, "Terrorism! Terrorism! T-E-R-R-O-R-I-S-M! Auuuuuggggghhhh! Let the eagle soar!"
We fought to give rights to Afghani women, but ever notice that the more we fight to give people their rights over there, the more they take it away over here, as if freedom were a zero-sum.
Now we're not even supposed to talk negative about our leaders, esp. over public airwaves (Bye bye, Bill Maher). It's Subjugation, Opression and it is sucks.

P.S. Here is something to throw off the FBI:
George W. Bush today said that the White House was "the bomb" and a target of his affections, he then later said that he opposses the character assassination of anybody who says, "Praise Allah".
