Such a beautiful California day it was here...no sunburn for me, but I smell like sunblock now...ah, but a nice tan... :) Tomorrow I'll have to find a place to lay in the sun some more!

gleeps! You're right! Let me rephrase...I don't normally like nuts in baked goods or in ice cream. I do like them in savory foods. And candied nuts are always tasty!

Did I tell you about the salad I made for my friend with the sugared pecans and black grapes? It was one of my *rare* martha stewart moments. I cut the grapes in half and lined the rim of our plates with them. It looked very nautical.

oh! And if you use bottled dressings you HAVE to try the Cape Cod (old cape cod? Can't remember exactly) balsamic vinegrette. It's intense AND it's fat free. They also have a soy dressing that's sooooo good!

Tank...tell MG to smack you upside the head for me, mkay?
 
When I bake cookies for people (and they know i'm baking cookies for them..not when it's a surprise), i always ask them if they want boy cookies (with nuts) or girl cookies (without nuts).

Grocery store with the bottled dressings. It's usually near the bottom cuz it's also uber-cheap, comparatively. The bottles have a light blue label.
