My summer holidays start tonight. I have 5 weeks off, YES! I have not had more than 3 days in a row off for the last 3 years so I think it's time to relax............
BUT being self employed means there will be about 3 hours a week I will have deal with. But I an't starting any new projects

fucking hate it when mom changes her plans.. at the last minute. I was so looking forward to having a few days off!

Here's what I"m doing with the four days off I had to crowbar my agency into giving me.
Friday night after work I'm leaving and heading up to see my babies. It's a 500 mile, 10 1/2 hour trip. I'm stopping 4 1/2 hours in to spend the night with a friend of mine who lives along the way. The next day I'll travel the rest of the way and get there in the evening. I'll stay at my ex's Mom's place (with whom I get along famously!) Saturday night.
Sunday, I'll get to spend the day with my kids and have a little Christmastime with them. Then, after they're in bed (at about 6 PM), I'll head back. My friend will be out of town, but they've very nicely given me a key to spend 3 or 4 hours there sleeping before I finish my trip.
I'll get home on the 24th, sometime around 10 AM, grab the gifts for my family, and drive another hour to my brother's house for Christmas with the family. Home late that night.
Christmas Day I'll be home alone. I go back to work the next day.
