I am having a truly amazingly crappy day.

Thus far, it's not much of a day at all.

• The radio here's acting up and I've had to yell to be heard clearly. It's made my voice hoarse and I have to sing a scat solo in a show tonight.
• I've found out that, yet again, a project on which I spent a good amount of time is now completely useless and might as well just be deleted.
• I'm having sharp burning pains on my lower left side about every 15 minutes.
• The bank held a check I deposited for a couple additional days, which isn't the usual thing for them, and it caused a check I wrote to bounce.
• I can't get through to my local MVA and I've been trying most of the day.
• The chicken I got for lunch might as well have been ordered "Extra Slimy".
• I can't download a program I need to sync my PDA without a passkey which I didn't need when I downloaded it for another computer two months ago. I don't have this passkey still. I didn't need it then.
• I was going to take an hour off from work to get a couple things done before I had to go to my gig. Needless to say, that fell through badly.
• My futon broke this morning. I can put it back together, but, well, it's just another thing, you know?

I want a Re-do for today. Who do I talk to about getting one?

Well, after running through the solo a couple times...it's just not going to be pretty.

It's supposed to sound smooth and effortless. Right now my voice sounds like a gravel truck falling off a cliff.

Hopefully some Chloroseptic will fix things temporarily until the evening....

Well here's the late-night update.

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes, but it didn't help anything. I got held up by an accident on the way to the gig. I got there ten minutes late and the group had already taken the stage (though I did manage to get on stage right after they finished the song they were singing when I arrived). I completely mised my solo, but because the day was such a cruel heartless bitch, I arrived just in time to hear my solo being sung by the alternate person who absolutely did it perfectly.

I honked my way through the rest of the gig and danced like I had completely forgotten how to move.

My stomach still hurts a lot.

Feh. I'm home. I'm going to bed.
