I am going to share a poem

[BBWetKitty]

SILVER DAWN

Fog lifting, mingling with breath
Anxious muscles shifting underneath
Focus on the horizon
Watching the day take form
Brilliant colors washing over the sky
Dampened hooves beat on dew covered grass
The sudden urge to fly overwhelming
Calves Tense, Certain Response
No direction taken, pounding rhythm
Leaning forward grasping coarse, black mane
Warm velvet neck caressed
Listening to mother earth give way
Seconds become eternity
Heady rush giving in to reality
Easing the pace, harsh breath
Sinew quivering, glistening sweat
Facing a new day together, as one

I wrote this about 10 years ago. Was about my first horse.

Hello BB, Your poem reminds me of riding on the farm when I was a kid. And falling off
