I am back-and damn happy to be here!!!

Hello all who know me and hello to any new folks that have appeared whilst I was gone. I am back after almost a month of Lit free living. Not by choice, but because my leaping lemur child fractured both bones in his precious little forearm and has been in a cast( and a foul, needy, whiny, demanding,and altogether demonistic mood for the last four weeks)and will continue to be coated with hard fiberglass for at least two to three more weeks. We resolved the Halloween issue by casting(oops a pun) him as THE FIERCE PIRATE ONE ARM, and his peevish pirate horde-dionysus and meself.
We are too exhausted to be an angry pirate horde and just too apathetic to be bloodthirsty-but we are truly peevish.
So here I am-back and happy to be here. It is funny how wonderful the board seems since I have been gone...alll sparkly and witty wow!!!
I am just glad to have a smidgen of free time to cruise again. So hello to all and for the hedonists among you I have a recipe I'd like to share..
Adult Smores
1 square dark bittersweet chocolate
2 Bremer wafers-or other non sweet water biscuit
2 large marshmellows
1 fresh raspberry

place rasperry on cracker-smash with chocolate-toast marshmellow and place onto other cracker. Smash whole thing together and devour quietly. If the others hear you they will want one which leaves less for you-enjoy!!

Hello & welcome back. I glad your young man is getting better. Only having one arm is a major inconvenience to an adult, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for a child. Little guy is finally happier-and the increased sleep is making us slightly less peevish. As are the big plans to turn our house into a slightly haunted ship-nothing to scary or gross-for our homeschooler's Halloween Party!!!
