that responding to the message last thread may well offend some of you, but I do need to ask a similar question, and I ask without any more sinister overtones...
How can you tell if a woman is seriously interested in you? I mean, when can you tell she wants more than friendship?

I'm not asking to be mean. I'm asking because I can only give you some advice if you and she are between 18-24 or so. I think it all matters with age. When i was in high school, I could tell because she would laugh at my jokes, touch me more than she needed to....demand hugs, etc. Now that i've been in college, it's a little different. Ladies can 'flirt' with you and joke around with you, but they may not want to be anything more than friends. The one sure way to find out, is simply to ask. Or if you are afraid of ruining the friendship, then get a mutual friend to ask her. Hope I was of some help.

If you have to ask, then she's not interested. Truly. If you feel ambiguity, then that's your answer.

If you're still confused, touch her arm a lot when you talk, and you'll get a lot of signals that should help.
