Why am I watching big brother crap? And that American/Australian Idol shit?

What is it about reality tv that sucks us (me) in?

Is it the fact that we watch people sing their heart out, and wait with bated breath to see if the judges will crush them?

I was wondering the same thing. I wouldn't miss Survivor for anything and was an avid watcher of Idol. I don't watch all the reality shows, but a few have definitely caught my interest, lol.

There are only certain Reality TV shows I watch...but, usually after the first or 5th ( ) episode, I can't do it anymore ~ and luckily for me, there's always another one no another channel...

What I don't understand, is why are there only good looking people on FEAR FACTOR?

I can't understand why anyone would want to watch reality programs.
I tuned in to BB once, turned it off after a few minutes. Rather watch paint dry.
Same with sitcoms and soaps.
