I'd always said I wouldn't get married before I was forty. Although there was nothing at stake, I "bet" that it wouldn't happen.

Well, I'm thirty-nine and I have fourteen days left as a single man. On October 25th I go from being single to being married with four kids. And a dog and a cat. The fish died.

As my parents have often said: "It's about damn time."

I've been married for 28 years. It sucks the life right out of you....

umm, what I meant to say is that marriage is wonderful, yeah, truely wonderful and I have been blessed with the world's most perfect woman! Haven't I dear?
