Hypnosis. Is this a subject that is interesting?

I have written several stories about hypnosis. I'm having a ball. All of my stories are based on experience which will become limiting. I'd love to hear ideas from other writers. No fantasy. This may be the wrong Board. Comments?

Fine plot line

Hi Masterhypnotist,

My father was a hypnotist. The erotica story potential
is excellent. I tried one story from that viewpoint, but did not carry it well because, I did not remember how far the post-hypnotic suggestion could be carried.

With your experience, your stories will be very interesting
to those with the imagination to follow the development and control that is possible.

Personally I don't believe that it works, so I just can't get into reading stories about hypnosis. I prefer the person to be nonconsentual when I make them do something, not under a spell. Just an opinion.

When I was 16 my Mom and I went to a guy who taught self-hypnosis. To do that though, he did do some actual hypnotising on us. To this day, the sound of the words, "Sit back and relax" give me an instant warm flush of serenity. Plus, the guys voice was so smooth and fluid. I think the voice would have to play a very important role in a hypnotist story.

Another experience I had with hypnotism was about 15 years later and once again, just the man's voice was enough to make me fly away. Gives me goose bumps. I loved it.

Aveun, you are mistaken. It does work. Not with everyone and it is not truly none consensual. You are creating an invironment where the person feels like they want to do what you are suggesting.

Steamy, your response is exactly what I have heard from many people. Most people can train their voices to be effective.

Hi,

My father was with New York Homicide for a time. The medical people were examining the subject of hypnotist.
He became envolved. Be advised that it is an extremly powerful mind control function, which is highly controled at both the state and federal level.

As MasterHypnotist advised you, you must consent to be hypnotised. Hopwever, once "Under," you are subject to powerful suggestions that you will follow, without fail, if they are presented correctly. You will not do what is morally against your grain, but if you are shown a picture of a stranger and told he is "Jim Grant" that you dated in High School and sleep with for two years, you will believe that it is so. If that "Stranger" meets with you at a party and puts the make on you, you may very well sleep with him.

So, if MasterHypnotist writes a story, you should believe every word he writes, since he said that he would write only what is "real."
