Thanks to the ax-master, Alex Lifeson, I picked up my first guitar about 20 odd years ago.

Now, my favorite guitar is my Black Ovation Legend Shallow Body, acoustic/electric.

I like Kaman or Dean Markley strings 49/48, 38, 28, 16, 11, 10.

I play mainly for me, and only rock.

It's taught me that although I have a good knack for memory and reciting things I've learned/heard, I have little to no talent for creation -- which is fine, 'cause it still makes me, well, Happy.

Okay the dam has broke.....

But I'll try not to go on and on......... hah!

Got a relatively new Tele in my greazy paws right now. Slightly tricked a bit - a bit Nashville'ized - reversed the volume, tone, switch plate so's I can perform what's called "violin'ing" a bit easier. Plan on a B-Bender and hot rod pickups soon as I can get'em in there. This here is my rockin' country guitar.

For screamin' rock'n'roll I got a cherry red Strat, 'bout then years old or so - shit, I loose track - older, late 80's. It's loaded with older Lace Sensor's. While visiting the left coast once - in a Venice Beach leather and Bong store I found this sticker of a skull with red sunglasses on - I got in stuck on the front. This is my Red Skull Strat. On the back, in bold black, magic marker - written upside down (so when I flip the strapped guitar up, strings to my chest) it says, "EAT ME!) I do that just to piss off the folks in the front row.

Shit.... I could go on and on........ got 8 guitars currently. Yes, I'm obsessed.

Guitars rule, man, gotta jam. Gotta have a cranked tube-amplifier with a couple of twelves at least, and watch the hot, orange glow flare up with every stroke, loud enough to wiggle the pant-legs a little. My old, beat-to-shit Les Paul hollers my name. Big, warm, nasty, crunchy chords.
