Husband sets up opportunities

A couple on their second marriage. He knows that his new wife who's ten years younger than he, has quite the past. But she found God and they met at church. They have great sex and she's never suggested they stray from monogamy, but he'd be down for it if she did. He's very nervous about about broaching to subject. He decides to instead set up situations where she might be tempted to stray, which, in his thoughts, would open the door to swinging, swaps and all sorts of naughtiness.

He starts off by inviting his son from his first wife, who has just left the Army, to live in the guest room for a while. The son's military pals are over frequently, using the pool and hot tub. He can see having young , fit men around is driving her to distraction and has high hopes.

What other sorts of scenarios could he arrange?

Well he could have her go down to the local garage to get the car fixed, have her volunteer with fire fighters, have her be go on a vacation with a younger couple who he knows are down for swinging, and fail to show up.... Leave her alone at a nude beach while he takes a business call.... Possibilities are really endless on this one, but what matters is the characters.

How about a membership at a local gym, something she can use regularly? Perhaps a swim club where she gets to "check out" other men frequently? And perhaps on one occasion accidentally ends up in a men's shower.

While these are all physical aspects, perhaps she connects intellectually with someone at a book club. Just happens, the other person seduces her to read "50 Shades of Grey." Having never been exposed to such books, she starts to explore her sexual needs. Her lover has other friends who are like-minded, and she gets to be part of their informal BDSM circle, taking part in various activities.

Hiring a massage therapist for her. Maybe he comes every 2 weeks. His excuse could be that she feels his wife is stress and this might help release some tension.

I think personally I'd have him take her to bbq's with swinger friends who know he's trying to test the waters with her but is afraid to say anything out right. Then after she'd gotten comfortable with being flirted with with her husband right there he'd start flirting with other people while next to her. Especially if you have him showing her how much he likes watching her flirt with other people. And then I'd have him dropping her into situations of temptation, but with the caveat that she usually knows that he's not too far away.

Admittedly whenever there’s someone trying to be subtle instead of straightforward with their intentions, I like to think of how it can be subverted or for the person trying to be subtle to miss obvious things.

For example: subversion

He keeps putting her in situations with hot guys and she’s not complaining but she isn’t taking the bait. So one day he and his friends are having a game day party and he notices the wives aren’t coming back. He goes to check on his wife and finds her in the hot tub making out with the other wives.

Turns out she’s a one man kind of woman…but she’s open to as many female partners as possible.

Or:

Wife isn’t taking the bait but meanwhile she keeps trying to invite him to her Bible studies and church groups. She’s surprisingly insistent on it but he turns her down, even when she asks in surprisingly revealing clothes.

Turns out her Bible study and church groups are effectively a swingers group made up of people who came to Jesus but then realized they couldn’t quite quit the lifestyle so they hook up in the safety of their company. As she’s riding one of the men on her group she wonders how less subtle she needs to be to get her husband to understand…she figured he’d be into swinging after all.
