what I wanted for my upcoming birthday. I had recently read that Joe Bonamassa was playing here in our town on my birthday. wooot~

I told him that I would LOVE to see this show. Turns out....tix are 120.00-299.00.

Oh, oh, oh....He's worth it but I just can't see spending that kind of money.

No biggie...hubs said he'll buy me the cd. :)
 
Yes, I couldn't see spending that kind of money on tickets unless it was Al Stewart at the Royal Albert Hall and even then tickets wouldn't be that much ;)

In my entire life...I have always had good luck with friends and lovers who were Aries. They are fire signs too!

I was too! Well, two hours into the next day. My Mom had just eaten a big Thanksgiving dinner when she went into labor.

My family has always referred to me as the "Turkey"...and on my Birthday, my phone rings off the hook....

I answer them all...to hear a turkey-like "gobble gobble gobble". My brother started this...damn him. Rest of the family has gotten in on the game...(no pun intended).

Interesting thing tho...he was born on Mother's Day! Our mom's first lil' baby!

Again, we share. I was going to remark what a great coincidence that is, but then I realized that since my birthday is on Thanksgiving only every seven years, that means there are another six dates that could fall on the fourth Thursday.

The family story is that everyone was sitting down for the big meal (except mom and dad) when the phone rang and word came that I had arrived, thus ensuring that the day would forever remain a national holiday.
