I've just submitted my first new story in well over a year! Back to the well-remembered anticipation of checking my e-mails constantly for feedback and waiting impatiently for it to be accepted.

So how long does it take for a story to be accepted?

Gosh, Maths had such good answers, some involved sheep. I'd guess 2 to 5 days if you keep your wellies on.

It took a week for mine to be accepted and posted. However, that first night it was posted was a high I'm not going to forget for a while.

It seems to be a random figure at the moment, Earl.

Took 5 days for the rainy day challenge stories, but that was a pre-arranged timescale. Laurel did say they were trying to get posting down to 2 days, but I haven't seen it happen yet.

I reckon P is the closest, anywhere between 2 and 5 days.
