Hunting for unicorns

That's come to be my attitude as it relates to finding a meaningful personal connection online. I've lurked on lit, tried a few other sites, but so far the search for the right match has proved elusive.

Here's the list of boxes I would love to check: be open minded, be kind, and be intelligent. If I could find that package, anything else would be icing on the cake.

As for who I am, I am a guy in my 30s with a boring job that I am nonetheless thankful for. I'm educated, professional, very physically active and outdoorsy. I'm kind of quiet but friendly.

But on the inside it's not so great. I feel lonely, isolated, misunderstood, and I crave finding that one special woman whom I can share anything with. I of course enjoy exploring sexually, but I think I am seeking an emotional refuge as well.

Are there any other lost souls out there? I've all but given up this hunt, but I'm making a last ditch plea to see if this unicorn might be out there somewhere.

I wish you luck as unicorns are elusive and scarce. If you want to increase your chances you should start posting. A lot. Let people get to know you. No guarantees that you'll bag a unicorn, but you'll meet some cool people and perhaps make a friend or two along the way.
