OOC:
Ok, the idea behind this thread stems from a fantastic British horror film called 'Dog Soldiers'.
In this SRP a unit of soldiers, five women and three men, are out on a training mission in the wilderness. Days from any populated area and hiking through thick forest and mountainous areas wearing complete army gear and carrying their weapons. Their goal is to navigate through the unexplored forest and out the other side to get to their helicopter which will take them back to base. Unknown to the soldiers though they are about to tresspass on the hunting grounds of a small pack of werewolves, all male, who have been without female company since their last mate died six months ago. Needless to say they are very horny
IC:
Rain hunkered down in the underbrush and waited, his teeth bared, fangs gleaming in the dull moonlight that filtered through the trees canopy above. He had just gone to feed on someof the last remains of a deer that one of his pack had brough down that day, but on arriving at the lair the deer was gone. Snarling his rage and glaring at the other three Werewolves who bowed to his presense and position as leader of the pack, Rain had seen that Snow was missing. Snow was the troublemaker, the one who always pushed Rain the hardest and the one Rain had had to fight time and time again to show his dominance in the pack. An albino, Snow had always thought this should have given him a special place in Werewolf society, but the ways of the wolf dictated that the strongest led, colour did not come into it. Now the albino had stolen food from his brothers and that was the lowest crime he could commit.
Rain had tracked and hunted Snow to this small clearing down by the river and watched now as the beast tore and ate from the carcass of the deer. Moving out into the moonlight, Rain howled and got his enemies attention. Spinning quickly as he dropped the deer, Snow snarled and bared his teeth at his pack leader and loped over to him till both Werewolves tood fangs showing, claws ready and fire in their eyes. The lack of a female in their pack meant that all the males now held animal lust and instincts they couldn't release, this made them more prone to fighting and anger. As if on a given signal both white and black furred werewolves slammed into each other tearing at the other as they tried to avoid their antagonists fangs. The fight didn't last long, it never did. Rain was bigger and tougher than Snow and despite the others quickness he couldn't stand against his pack leader. Soon he was smashed to the ground where he lay mewling and growling quietly as he kept his eyes from Rains and bowed before him before limping off into the treeline his fresh wounds bleeding onto his white fur.
Gathering the carcass to take it back to the lair, Rain stopped and lifted his head to the night sky. The moon wasn't full, but it shone brightly for all that and illuminated the manbeast as it stood upright and sniffed, taking in great gulps of air. Something was coming, something he couldn't place, but there was a scent in the air he had't smelt for many years. It was a long way off yet, but it was unmistakable. Human. Howling to the moon in excitment, Rain loped off to his pack with the news. A new hunt was about to begin.
