I needed to purchase a birthday card for my mother, so I went to the Dollar General store.

My mother going to be 89 years old next month.

Anyway, the largest selection of birthday cards was entitled "Humorous Birthdays"

I selected one and here is what it says:

Do you think this card would be appropriate to send my mother?

You know your mother is 89. Although we are not guaranteed the number of days we have here on earth I think at 89 it can be viewed that the numbers might be shrinking. If I find a really funny card, I get it, but I also get a serious one that tells the person how I feel. If you're not the kind of person that likes serious cards, get the funny one and do something else loving. Bring a flower or something she likes. Happy Birthday to your Mom!!
