Okay...........would you rather the weather be hot and humid
or freezing cold like we had this winter?

Poll away! :D

I'll start off here. :)

I put "neither"; I become affected by extreme changes in
temperature, though I seem to be a bit more affected by
high humidity in the summer.

It's far easier to cool off than warm up.

When it's cold, the only warm thing is fire. When it's hot,
you can take cool baths, turn on the A/C, go swimming
or walk around naked.

that is the one good thing about summer is that there
are opps to cool off.......i love taking a cool shower (but
not freezing) when its very humid out, esp. when i
come home from work.........

neither for me to

but the question should be for winter

freezing rain with black ice/ or snow snow fucking snow

I chose neither because any extreme variation causes me problems. For me personally, the best weather is about 72 degrees F, and about 40 % humindity if that.

I dont' even want to think about winter, esp. this past
winter, which was only a few short months ago....

Yeah...can't stand the black ice.......and driving in snow....

I'll take freezing ass cold over hot and humid any day! Spend 1 day in New Orleans in the summer and I dare you to tell me you like hot and humid. No swamp weather for me.

When you're cold you can put on layer after layer of clothes to warm up, and get under the covers with your lover.

When you're hot, all you can do is take off the clothes down to your skin, and you're still hot.

Freezing ass cold works just fine for me!

I'd love to say neither, but unless you live in Utopia, you're stuck with them both!:D

Hope ya'll enjoy the summer!

I agree 100%.

And finding ways to keep warm can be fun. :p

I can see what you're saying about taking off clothes and
still being hot and sticky from the humidity.....at least in
winter we dont' have to worry about that......then we
can layer up and snuggle next to someone we love! :)

Heehee I know :)

If its very hot out, let's say, 90something degrees
and very humid, forget it....I'm a basket case unless I'm
in a room w/ the a/c going on :D

If its very cold, I just pile on the clothes :D

Yeah, who would have thought that here in the northeast (I'm near Philly) that it would have been 92 degrees and humid today? So, tonight we pay for it with thunderstorms...hey, I can live with that, as long as it stops raining all day long, right?;)

I chose neither

We have pretty mild winters here, but we do get the black ice and ppl that try to drive like it is normal day. We usually don't get much snow, just ice.

Summers here are hot, sometimes VERY hot and it is humid sometimes, but we do not get the humidity like New Oreleans, Houston and some other places.

But even though I sometimes gripe about the heat, I will take it any day to the frigid cold. The cold makes my carpal tunnel, shoulder injury and arthritis hurt way too much! And I get cold to the bone and can't get warm! I hate that!

Speaking of weather yet another severe Thunderstorm just started up here again! Hmmm gotta love it!

Bring on the heat, the hotter the better. Although i live in a place where it is very dry so i don't have to deal with the humidity. I have before and didn't like it so much, but air conditioning took care of that problem. But for where i am i like it hot.

Like my good friend Muffy I am going to freez'n my ass off!

Us 6 foot 2 inch, blonde haired, blue eyed Swede's like the cold.

Ya ,can always throw another log on the fire and snuggle up a little closer to the naked honey under the bear skin comforter....:D :D :D

Now if I could only get my hands on a naked honey....

Neither

Since I presently live in Michigan on the lake I know about the cold but we lived in Chile for a brief while and it gets swealtering there.

I think I would love to live in Greece just to eat the foods and enjoy the Met sea.

Heehee my kind of sentiments, Muffin! :)

My ideal weather is:

73 degrees, sunny w/ blue skies and a couple of
baby-sized clouds, not humid.....and it rains between
midnite and 6am :D

O yes.....the cold can affect people in different ways......and
so do thunderstorms! I know my dad's left shoulder is
chipped, and it starts to hurt right before a thunderstorm
starts!

When I was out in CA back in June '96 I really enjoyed
the sunny weather out there.....esp. since it was DRY
and not humid like it is back here in CT. It did get hot
out when the a/c was needed.....which is fine by me :)

Ahhhhhhh Greece.......one of the countries I'd love to go
to one of these days........... :)

An old boyfriend of mine went to Chile for a semester
when he was in college and he said it got hotter than
hell at times when he was there.

Michigan......darn that's gotta be cold during the winters
but I am sure its nice as hell during the summer :)

BTW...welcome to Lit! :)

We usually don't get the extemes in temperatures here in Western Oregon...rarely below 20 or above 100 with few tornadoes (what ones we do get are rare and weak, as a rule) plus can have occasional bad ice storms plus our snow usually only lasts a few days to a week on the valley floor, if indeed we get any at all. What we DO get--that people rarely like--is lots of rain, so in Oregon--we don't tan; we rust! LOL :D
