Hope
Elrond - Elven King
Her name was Hope and she was human that was allowed to live within the oldest elven city there was. Rivendell was beautiful and she had lived there since she was seven years old. She didn't know why everyone liked her so much, but she just had that kind of way with people. Hope wasn't the kind of person that wanted people to help her, she was taught elvish so she could feel more like she was one of them. What she didn't know however was she was so much like one of them because in a past life she was an elf. Elrond was very special to her and she had a deep connection with the man, his daughter Arwen was very beautiful and while she learned elvish she taught her language to those who wanted to know the word of man. She learned their language and learned how to hunt from Legolas. She learned to hunt quickly and learned to hunt without making a sound. Something was on her mind and had been a very long time. She had night terrors and had ever since the murder of her mother.
So many times she had screamed for help, and Elrond had heard her since he was the closest. She had learned to keep a lot to herself but with him she could put her shield down and he would just listen to her. But lately the dreams had been so real it made her wake up, but she silently woke up. For the past three years she had a dream of a woman who was an Elf who was taken from Elrond many years before Hope was even born. One night she slowly got up and onto her rooms balcony and didn't know what was going to happen, in that moment she couldn't help but want to know why she kept dreaming of her. And a song she had heard in every single dream. And every night she would stay awake and feel lost with her dreams, not understanding why this was happening to her. Finally after the last time she noticed Elrond was awake and she was curious why he was up.
She walked so much like a huntress she had to try a lot to make noise since she didn't want him to think she was spying on him. "Elrond..." She spoke softly and smiled when he looked at her. She saw his hand out to her and she grabbed it as he pulled her to his side. She could feel a closeness that felt much like a dream, she didn't know if she would ever feel this way about anyone but she did. He was her everything, he was the one who taught her his people's language and their ways. Something she was surprised about, but when she looked into his eyes. She could see his eyes, that of a human. It didn't take long for her to see he was a half human and half elf. Which made sense everything within her was screaming that something be done, when it comes down to all of it she was really happy to be there. She looked out seeing how the dawn was coming and she smiled seeing the beauty that it had.
She could hear a harmony in the air since some people got up early and always heard this harmony every morning, and she had created a song for it. It was something she knew he heard and as she heard the song, it filled her as tears began to fall down her face, she was starting to think about her life. Her father never see her be born because he gave up his life days before she was born. And her mother was the same, giving up her life to protect her. Hope never understood why she was so precious. She could feel his eyes on her and felt Elrond's hand on her back. She always showed the proper respect when people were near but when it was just the two of them. How she wanted to express everything to him, but she didn't know how to do that. Until her heart took over for her. She began to sing in Elvish..
