Tight ones, please. Because she's a wonderful woman, and she needs as many as she can get right now.

Frankie had to be put down this morning. And I guess anyone who's had a dog will know how hard that is. They're family members, not pets.

So I'm just gathering together as much support as I can for someone who's always done just that completely selflessly for other people.

Aww - I'm so sorry Sweets. Losing an animal is such a hard thing to go through. <big hugs>
And don;t worry - he'll be in doggy heaven chasing cats and gnawing bones and stuff. Totally.

Good warm thoughts and hugs for Jessi. New here but came across this post and my heart paused then thumped really hard. Had the same heartache myself. "It's just a dog or pet" does not do justice to the love and life these precious beings give to us. Giving them their peace is a hard though loving act. Here's hoping that the daily absence will soon pass to pleasant memories. :)

Condolences, but somehow, after reading Slyc's thread, I can't muster up much strength to say more.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dog. It's a very hard thing to deal with, people form incredible emotional bonds with their pets. One of the few times I've seen hubby cry was when he had to put his cat down...*mega hugs and cuddles*

I'm a cat person, not a dog person, but I know the feeling of losing a four legged family member.

*hugs*

It's never easy, and I have cried a lot for all of my lost ones. I'm almost crying now...

Oh no:(
you did it out of love, like your pup did everything for you. *hugs*
So, so sorry for you and the family. :rose:
