Huge Smile to Everyone! *

A very, very Happy Thanksgiving Day to one and all.

I hope the quintessential, American holiday (made an official national holidday my President Abraham Lincoln btw) and one that can't be commercialized since we just buy food and share it *BS* is a wonderful one for all of you my friends and for all of yours as well.

And I want to say Happy Thanksgiving to you too Phoenix. Now don't eat too much.

Where I am we actually celebrate Thanksgiving a lot earlier (a month?). Still, congratulations to our neighbors to the south! :D

Then a belated one to you and all of our Canadian Friends Wolk abd thank you very much. *GBS

*waving* Hola!

A lurker here who just wanted to sneak in a quick Happy Turkey Day wish of his own to yourself and all the other fine writers who make up this section of the board.

Here's hoping your day has been a great one which lived up to, if not surpassed, your highest expectations.

I am by myself today. Thought I had to work but I don't...my mom is out of town and I am alone.

I just hope we all can, whether alone, with friends, with family, with family you don't want to be with, or whatever, I hope we all can think about and realize all the things we do have to be thankful for.

There are many times in my life that the smallest thing can be something I can be really thankful for. And, for most of us, we have lots of small things to be thankful for.

Ok, maybe I can't be thankful for all my sentences ending in "for". I know it is not grammatically correct, its the turkey talking.

I am thankful that I haven't heard of anyone getting hurt tonight. Although apparently things got kind of violent over at my boyfriend's, where his ex was so I didn't go.

Thank you Daisymell and jushorny. Up from my post gore nap now *LOL* back to see what's happening.

Daisy, if you want to come and warm up, sunbath, beachcomb... and eat leftovers I have plenty in Florida to share with you. *BS*

I'd have extended the offer for Turkey Day had I ready your first post earlier and congradulations and avoiding any problems like that. *S

*Laughs* Well where I am in Oregon it is 9:48 pm and I wish I had eaten turkey, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. If I could get to Florida I would but unfortunately I need to pick my mom up at t eh airport in about twelve hours. Thanks Phoenix that was a wonderful offer. I am saying goodnight and will see y'all later *wink*

Well it's 1AM here now Daisy and yes I even have some of that evil bitter red berry stuff left over, two types in fact-one with and one w/o berries in it.
Now why not let Mom take the car and pick you up at the airport sometime next week and coooome on down. *G

You're very welcome in deed and wish you'd had all of that good stuff today Daisy.

*laughs* Thank you Phoenix for the invite. If you ever want to do a thread with me please pm me. You seem like a great person. Might be fun. And I like the evil red stuff without berries...I can't stand the berries. It is now 6:50 am and I am having to clean my house before my picky mom gets home. Hope you all had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
*blows a kiss*
