I know it happens everyday, but one hit close to home for me today. A very dear friend of mine lost his 15 year old son in car accident. He was riding with another friend of his, and they were hit by someone else. It was instant, he's sure his son felt nothing.

He seems to be doing as well as someone can be under the circumstances. He and his son had a very good relationship, and there was nothing left unsaid between them.

Make sure you hug your loved ones and tell them you love them every day. You just never know if it might be the last thing you get to say to them.

As I'm reading this, my 18-year old son and 16-year old daughter are lounging in the living room with me, watching TV and my heart feels very full. I'll say a couple of prayers for him.

*hugs* wildcard...sometimes these things do hit home, and I heed your advice.

I'll keep your friend and his family in my prayers :rose:
