anyone else get a letter from these people looking
for permission to post stories there? I went there and it's a porn search engine and supposedly is starting
up a story section.

WS and I were just discussing the issue.

I'm not too sure about WS, I can't speak for her, but I've decided to not do it. While I appreciate the difficulty in finding stories to post on a new website, I feel a loyalty to Laurel. Not to mention I know that Laurel would never screw one of her authors over. The copyright belongs to me and me alone.

Plus, if I put my stuff on a buncha sites, even two, I'll lose track of it. I'm forgetful, hell, I get lost on a treadmill, so I'll just stick with Literotica.

If it's not too arrogant of me to say so, she can put me in her "exclusive authors" category.

yep...but I would NEVER be associated with a porn site! Perish the thought.
Well, except this one, of course :)

Did everybody get this letter??? <rolls her eyes> He said he was interested in my stories, but I've only written the one. LOL. That alone irritates me. Well, okay, it's posted in ten different chapters, but it's all ONE STORY.

I'm signing up for the exclusive author's list too, KM. I love Literotica. Anything of mine posted here is Laurel's and will only be found here until further notice. End of story.

I don't mind sharing my stories with others, that's what I wrote them for, but there are certain stories that I will keep for this site alone.

I got the invitation, too. I told them I was not interested unless they wanted to purchase a story. Is that a little too mercenary?

I actually considered it for three point five seconds, then decided that the only site I liked already had my stories. Don't get me wrong though, I have no qualms about putting my stories on other peoples sites, it's just that I like this one.

Carl.

You can add me to the "Literotica Exclusive Authors" pile. That email just annoyed me.
