Howdy from Kentucky

I am a 61 yr old guy from GA who now lives in KY for the last 14 years. I used to be here on Lit all the time years ago. Then Life kind of got in the way of being on here often and now that I am back I do not see many of my old friends from here. So here is what I am hoping for. One to say hi, two to make new friends and three make some really CLOSE friends. People I talk to daily be it in this tread or in PMs or texting or anyway we can think of.

A little about me. I was born in Savannah GA but grew up all over the US. Dad was USAF and in 1965 they divorced and moved in with my Grandparents in Brunswick GA. I love the beach all though I can not be in the sun like I used to. (Sun damage to my skin) I am a singer and musician and play guitar. I worked in radio for over 30 years. Been married 2 times, 4 kids and 5 grandkids. I am 61 but will be 62 soon. I do not look or act my age. (Help me! I am a young guy stuck in a old farts body!!!!)

I would just like to connect with some new people and reconnect with old friends if they around and just have daily chats....

Well like any town, Savannah has it's good and bad parts. The downtown is awesome. The parks and the brick roads are the nicest parts. Where I grew up in Brunswick, they turned the downtown recently into a movie set for Ben Affleck's movie "Live By Night".

Oh Well...

Too bad, so sad, it isn't you. Everything on here is D-A-Y-E-D, deceased.
Sometimes it's better after midnight, when we let it all hang out, but
I'll be aSLEEP by then because I have to get up and go to church, but it's
Not What You Think. I live with this girl and her family, and the girl is
sucking the Youth Minister at her church. I'm a lapsed Catholic in a
Baptist Church: the religion stuff is lke water off a fuck's... um, I mean
DUCK'S, back. None of it gets me wet.

Anyway, it's like a rock concert, only you have to get stoned OUTSIDE and
there's no mosh pit. They have a praise band that sounds like Counting
Crows, only they have a singer who looks like Taylor Swift. I mean, I know
I'm damned. Not even Purgatory for me, it's straight down. Might as well
enjoy the ride. Dad told me it was better to laugh with devils than to
cry with angels anyway.

I do not mind making guy friends but I am straight...
