Reading it cover to cover the day I get it, which is Saturday, assuming Amazon comes through. Then handing it over to my 8 yr old, who is sorely pissed at me that I get to read it first.

Yeah, I'll try to read it in one day as well. But I won't get my copy till Saturday afternoon, so I may have to be happy with finishing it on Sunday. Can't stay up all night and still take care of the kids.

Actually, it's going to BE the celebration. I was laid off right after book 1 came out. When I'm again gainfully employed, I'll celebrate by ordering books 1 - 6 (and any others that have been published since then).

Thank you for the reminder. I just skipped over to the Library system catalogue and reserved a copy.

Despite the fact that most people don't know you can reserve books that are still shown as "on order" I'm probably low enough on the reservations list that I'm looking at getting an e-mail from the library around chrstmas time.

I read book 1 and thought it was great. Ever since I have been intending to read the rest.

But then my dad instroduced me to the Discworld books, and I haven't gotten around to it yet.
