How Wackadoodle can EnvironMENTALism get? (tax dollar alert)

I do real physical labor on a dock like Eric Hoffer.

;)

It gives me time to think. You should try thinking before you pop off...

This is a valid concern you understand right for a LOT of reasons. First we're looking for alien life. Can you imagine this.

NASA: We found life on Mars.
World: WHOA ALIENS!
ten years later
NASA: It turns out Niel Armstrong had the stomach flu when he touched this thing. It's just common e.coli.

And that's just the basic one. You could potentially get mutant strains of absolutely anything, granted that will happen sooner or later anyhow but that doesn't mean you dont' pay attention.

So no this is not wackadoodle. This is science and you don't science bra so stop talking to those who do.

No, retarded, "what if" scenarios are not "science" anymore than the fact that science can identify, name and if needed eradicate the flora and fauna that crows in the Tupperware in the back of the fridge.

If this was at ALL a valid concern, sterilizing the craft would have been SIMPLE. As it is, if you wanted some bacteria to be transported to Mars and actually grow it would take a lot of actual science. The odds of a stray it of life surviving with no planned growth medium and carefully selected for the conditions are somewhere between very, very, very slim and absolutely none. Because SCIENCE. Temperatures on Mars get within about 70 degrees Fahrenheit to absolute zero.
