Okay, heres how you find bra size...
You measure around underneath your breasts and you'll get a number, say 36 inches. Thats the first number.
Then, you measure around your breasts and you'll get a number, say, 40. You take 40-36 and you get four inches. The number of inches between the top and bottom number correspond to a cup size. So, the larger the difference, the bigger the cup size.
What this means for you in your writing:
1) A bigger number in front of a cup size does not neccesairly mean larger breasts.
2) A bigger number does mean, in general, that the girl is a bit larger. Which, is the whole reason for this little rant...basically, your female character is NOT going to be a size two and have 42DDD breasts. Even if she has implants.
(Okay, I'm done ranting about that, now.)
