How to stop email alerts?

I've turned off everything in preferences and I'm still getting email alerts. How do I stop them?

At the top of any Forums page, tap the down arrow next to the word Forums, then tap Watched Threads.
At the top of your Watched Threads list, on the right of the screen, tap Manage Watched Threads, and then Disable Email Notification.
