How to shop for my wife?

I've lurked on this site many times, but am new to the boards. And now I need some advice. My wife and I are taking a trip to Vegas later in the year. I have a fun evening in the works, but I need to get her some things to wear. Not many, but I still need help. I have some pretty definite ideas about how I would like her to look. First I need a dress. What I would like is something form fitting (size 4, small boobs) down to her waist, and then a little more flowy (sp?) to about mid-thigh. It needs to be black with a halter top (wrap around the neck) and buttons from top to bottom down the front. I've looked online, but can't seem to find one. Any ideas? Also, she has a garter belt, but says the stockings are too long, so I want to get some that meet the hem of her dress. How are these sized? And last, I want to get a red silk g-string that either ties or buttons in the front. I'm not letting her wear her wedding ring that night, but I still want her to have it on. Any ideas of where to shop for this stuff? I really only have the internet and a phone since I live in a bit of a third world state. Thanks!

Buttons from top to bottom on a halter top dress might be difficult to find...
There should be size guides on the stockings online - its done by weight/height.
For the underwear I would check Victoria's Secret 'cause I love it there - or if you want something a little bit more kinky try Fredrick's of Hollywood. :)
And for the ring, if you don't want it on her finger but still want her to have it, I'd suggest putting it on a chain she can wear around her neck. :)

Damn, that was fast. That dress is close, but not enough shoulders. We have a game to play, so her ring needs to be out of sight but on her person. That doesn't leave too many places! I am planning on visiting VS to have a look around, but the one here doesn't stock too many actual clothes. Mostly lace, underwear and bathrobes. I've made a cursory search of the biggest websites, but I just can't find what I want. I guess I have too many details. Maybe I should broaden my search.

VS online has way more clothing than any VS store I've ever been to.
And yeah, I think it will be hard if you want to find the exact, perfect dress...If I were you I would just be looking for something cute and sexy. :)

*enters, stands in corner, rocks back and forth twiddling thumbs waiting for more pictures of babes in lingere*

EJ: o sure, we're supposed to believe that's really what you're doing w/ your hands? :>

bridger jack: VS isn't bad, but they do charge an arm & a leg. consider a few other department stores like dillard's, macy's, etc.

indeed. 98% of all men twiddle. 60% of all women twiddle... the other 40% expect you to believe it takes that long to take a fucking bath.

this is why i buy all my lingere at value city and ollie's.

Ooops, I thought this was a thread about how to buy a wife. Sorry.

But I need the buttons in the front, it's part of the game! I'm thinking less like a summer dress than the ones you've found. Maybe I'll just get one made. But don't let me stop you from any gratuitous on-line shopping!

Bi that last one was gorgeous, now if only I was that thin still.

YOu can also look at Dillard, Sears and J.C. Penney Online, they all carry clothing and dresses and they may have what you are looking for. ;)

Yeah, I don't look good enough to spend enough money on most of those dresses either...
Thats why I have to live vicariously through the models and wish I looked that sexy in outfits. :)

Yeah me to, though I don't reccomend doing window shopping with a guy, I did that once with mine and he's always up front and truthful, usually I love him for it, but that one time, I decked him. :catroar:

Well not really, I so wanted to, but I made him sleep on the sofa instead, well tried to, we don't have a sofa, apartment isn't big enough for it so he slept on the ground. ;)

He doesn't go window shopping with me anymore, or if can't help it he just says it looks wonderful dear.

LOL. Yeah, that's why I hate shopping with my wife. What she thinks she wants is an honest opinion, but what she really wants is to have her own feelings affirmed. So I have choice between a bunch of little white lies, or truths that she doesn't want to hear. Fortunately, she has mostly figured out that taking me along shopping for her clothes is a downer for her, so she doesn't much ask me any more.
