Hmmm... I would imagine that a compliment would be a great start. I was at a bar once and the female part of a couple who wanted to take me home (I didn't know that at the time- lol) told me how beautiful she thought I was. I was truly flattered and we began talking. She eventually told me the deal and I went home with them.... so I guess it worked 
*side note: I went home with them and wanted to try my first bi experience, but she passed out before anything happened; I still laugh my ass off when I tell anyone that story!

Gentlemen if you think you've got a good woman and you'd like to keep her around there are a few things you ought to know. Please follow these recommendations. It isn't a guarantee but it'll make her think twice about leaving.
1. Tell her how you feel. Honesty is the best policy. If you don't feel up to going out to a movie just say so. But remember you'll owe her.
2. Tell her she's beautiful. Remember the honesty thing, forget it. It doesn't matter if she's got zits all over, she's gaining weight, and she's having her period...tell her you've never seen a woman more beautiful. And mean it.
3. Do the dishes. Nothing says I love you like a clean house, don't forget that bathroom, mirrors, laundry, dusting, vacuuming windows, inside and out, and clean sheets on the bed. (Leave a rose on the pillow if you are hoping for a certian result from all of your hard work.
4. Kiss her. Kiss her a lot. Kiss her all over. Kiss everything from her toes to her temple. Kiss her slowly. Kiss her deeply. Kiss her passionately.
5. Hold her hand in public. Whisper in her ear that you'll never leave her. Kiss her cheek. Put your hand on her waist. Buy her a rose. Generally, be as sweet as you can be.
