How to put a sub in a harness?

I am a sub who doesn't usually use harness in my scenes or real life with my Dom but I want to put it in one of my upcoming stories. I could use some advice. I do have a specific harness in mind but I'm just not sure how to get it on the character.

Advice only please.
No I don't want you to put me in a harness
No I don't need hands on training

Google is your friend. "Simple rope harness how to" came up with a bazillion hits, and https://www.autostraddle.com/shibari-bondage-101-basic-chest-harness-351244/ looks like a good one for a basic chest harness.


If you're looking for more/different, add terms to the search string. "Full body rope harness how to", "rope arm harness how to", whatever you need.


If it's a premade harness, the simplest is simply have the Dom order the sub to put it on and describe it as a fiddly process, making sure all the straps laid flat and went the proper direction while the Dom waits, impatiently..."


Or make it a challenge. "You've got 30 seconds to get into that harness. Go!"
