How to post pictures that are not links?

How do I post pictures in a thread that is not a link, and is that even possible from a phone or is that only possible on a computer?....

Can't help from a phone, but your controls should be similar to those of a PC when making a post.

In the reply box header you will see an icon that has a mountain and sun (image), this is how you attach an image you find online and link it here and have it show up in context of your message. If you are uploading an image, then it will show as a link to another place on the server so that it is only loaded (viewed) when clicked on. This is done to save bandwidth.

The photo needs to be hosted on another site for this to work.

You can also hit reply and scroll down to manage attachments and upload from your computer like that, that will also work from your phone.
