In order for a thread to stay in this forum, it must specifically be looking for a response to "how to."
For instance, take my 5 starred pain thread. The thread is asking 'how to' cope with chronic pain.
Gil's abuse thread is asking 'how to' get over being abused.
If you don't want your thread to be moved, make sure it poses a question of 'how to' do something.
Similarly, if you don't want your posts to be moved out of this forum, make sure that the thread you're posting in is in the right forum.
I suggest reading thru the forum guidelines so you can familiarize yourself with the rules of Lit. And please realize that it isn't the mod who created these rules. The site's creators did, they had a good reason to, and they had the right to. There are over 123,000 members in Lit, which is quite impressive. However, with so many members, there have got to be some guidelines. So, here they are:
