how to post an illustrated story?

I have tried to post an illustrated story using the submit section. I can post the text but the illustrations do not show. I emailed the illustrations and the story was rejected because of no illustrations. Any help would be great.

The easiest way is to submit a word .doc file with the illustration embedded in the text.

If you don't have word, you can download Open Office for free and save as a word97 .doc file and submit as an attachment to the submission.

By the way, you must hold the copyright on the photo or illustration in order to use it in your story. You cannot grab a photo or illustration off the internet and use it...it has to yours.
