How do you post multiple stories as a series? I've seen these types of posts, but I can't find any information about how you do it.

Just title them as a series, e.g.:

My Story Ch. 01
My Story Ch. 02
...

Numbering the first chapter is optional. If you're going to post more than 9 chapters, be aware that "Ch. 10" sorts before "Ch. 2", so you want to number the first chapters 01, 02, ... to keep things in order.

The site should automatically pick them up as a series.

In fact, even if you just title them with several of the same words, it'll link them as a series. It'll sort in alphabetical order, so you could have a series without chapter numbers, so long as you had the last word in the title in the correct alphabetical order. [Edit: thinking about it, it's not the last word that would need to be in alphabetical order, but the first different word. But I'm sure you get the idea]

Ie:
Loves of my life: Annabelle
Loves of my life: Andrew
Loves of my life: Bernard
Loves of my life: Clairise

Will be picked up as a series.

The other trick is to keep whatever punctuation you use the same.

I.e.
Loves of my life: Annabelle
Loves of my life: Andrew
Loves of my life - Bernard
Loves of my life - Clairise

Would be listed as two different series.

Oh neat, I didn't know that was an option.

One thing that doesn't work well is multi-level chaptering, e.g. "Ch. 02 Part 3". I've seen some authors do this and the automated chaptering gets confused.

I found it out accidentally. I have several short stories that are all bout the same couple. They're stand alone stories, but i titled them with the characters' names plus a short descriptor. Theyre now listed as a 4 part series in my story list. The fifth one, i changed the punctuation to save a couple of characters, and its listed separately. So, its only by happenstance that I know this.

Originally, I'd just wanted the stories to be near each other in my list, not as a "series" since they're not in any particular order, plotwise. But it works out fine for them to be listed as a series. Each one has a short author's note explaining it.

If my muse settles down and starts talking to me again, there are three more started and ideas for another half dozen or so...

I think giving each entry the same name and then adding a number at the end is the best way to do it. Some writers like to give each entry in an ongoing story its own title. This can be a little bit of a PITA for the reader, though. Add a subtitle later if you want that.

It just makes it easier to find the entries and understand the order they were meant to be read in.

Keep in mind the sequencing can, if you introduce an alpha listing after you've got a numeric sequence running, bugger up the overall sequencing, coz it's an alpha-numeric sort overall.

Unfortunately, it's an alpha sort, so...

Loves of my life: Annabelle
Loves of my life: Andrew
Loves of my life: Bernard
Loves of my life: Clairise

Becomes...

Loves of my life: Andrew
Loves of my life: Annabelle
Loves of my life: Bernard
Loves of my life: Clairise

...in the list on your authors page.

If you want to keep them is some sort of order, you will need to add a Numeric to the title...

Loves of my life 01: Andrew
Loves of my life 02: Annabelle
Loves of my life 03: Bernard
Loves of my life 04: Clairise

Another consideration is that Titles are limited to 35 characters.

Thanks all. I had a feeling there was an automatic process, but could see anything to show me how.
