how to post a poll

how do you post a poll? where are the options to be typed in? just in the normal place of any posting? how formated?

can it be previewed?

Hi Pure!
It's fairly simple to post a poll here at Lit. When you open a New Thread, you type in whatever you want to say and at the bottom there is a section that asks if you want to post a poll. You indicate "Yes" by clicking in the box provided. Next you indicate the number of choices/selections you want by typing in the number. (can go up to 10)

When you hit the "Submit New Thread" a screen should pop up allowing you to enter the selections for your poll. If I recall correctly, you can set polls up to receive only one answer or multiple answers.

There is not much you can do to format the poll. If you select "Preview" it will preview what you've written, but I'm not certain about the poll selections.
