How depends on your operating system.

I run Win 98 SE, and used TweakUI to cause the partitions I don't want th grandkids and other users into to simply not show up in all user logins except mine. It's still possible to access the "missing" partitions, but what people don't see, they usually don't get curious about.

Win XP and other operating systems have better security features that will allow you to limit access to files, folders, and partitions.

Ther are probably a dozen or more add-on security functions available online as well.

Go to Tucows and download a program called "Magic Folders".

Install it, problem solved :)

I have windows me.

Windows ME comes with TweakUI I believe, but it also incorporates "compressed folders" which can be password protected -- essentially it's built in ZIP file support but it treats them as folders.

"Magic Folders" from Tucows sound like it might be worth a look as well, although I haven't looked at it.

any others

Like to be able to unistall if need to, is there any others that know of a good program.
