Literotica now allows stories to be organized as Chapters it looks like. so the reader automatically sees the other chapters when they reach the end of that chapter.

Is that automatic if the names are correct? Or is it something you do when you submit them?

Also if the original story doesn't say chapter 1, and there are now "unplanned" additional chapters to be added, should the author also resubmit the original (calling it Chapter 1 now?)

Thanks,

Contrarian

Ps: this may have been asked before. the forums search was not working well, and I couldn't locate it.

Just use the same title and add "Ch. 02" to it. There's no need to change the original to Ch. 01 after the fact.

Think about how many chapters you're going to have. As long as it's less than 99, the "02" is sufficient. Otherwise, you may need to add more leading zeroes to keep them displaying in numeric order.

Once the second chapter posts, the system will automatically generate the "series" on your public submission list and group them all together.

As above. LIT warez sort and group story names alphanumerically. My Book of Ruth cycle is so named. They are automagically a 6-part series; the episodes are:

The Book of Ruth: Before Ruth
The Book of Ruth: Coming Fast
The Book of Ruth: Doing Ruth Pt. 01
The Book of Ruth: Doing Ruth Pt. 02
The Book of Ruth: Doing Ruth Pt. 03
The Book of Ruth: Eating Out

Click the submissions link atop my .sig. to see how those are listed.
