How To Mod Your PC?

What hardware are you looking to mount differently?

It would be simpler to answer the full question than just part of it. I have moded a couple of computers, but mostly for Power sources and for additional cooling.

What is it you are trying to put together?

lights, water cooling, windows, built in coffee brewer, built in nintendo, liquid nitrogen cooling, refridgerant cooling, or just the simple case tweak? :D What are you thinking about doing? I've seen from the pale to the extreme, but stick to the mild stuff myself. Let us know what you want to know about.

I also had some questions about mounting the internal hardware and stuff that the websites I visited offered no help for.

I suspect that the reason for so little information is because every case is different and so the installation process is different. Something that mounts in a MB slot or a drive bay is fairly easy to explain, but something that mounts to the case itself -- possibly requiring mounting holes be drilled -- is going to depend on how the inside of your case is laid out and what space is available for mounting.

Here's a site with a lot of examples of whats possible:

I haven't really followed the scene much but I remember passing by there a while back and they still have a lot of good stuff.

Lately though I've been thinking about water cooling just because my fans are noisy and its getting annoying.
