People have done it. You might. If you fail, it's probably not something to really blame yourself for. I would only suggest reading some books. Only some of the titles I can remember at the moment unfortunately.
One from a long time ago was "Why I should be the first to change" I think.
One about "love tank" that sort of explains how people people see each other, how when they don't get what they need they feel empty and start looking for needs elsewhere. I think it was in the "men are from mars..." book.
Another is a book I haven't read yet, but was recommended here by others:
Passionate Marriage: Keeping Love and Intimacy Alive in Committed Relationships
None of these will work wonders, cure the common cold, etc., but might give you ideas and help you understand why things don't work and why you might not be at fault.
Commitment takes 2 people. Or more I suppose. *grin*
I've realized that relationships don't exist because of how you feel. They exist because of how the other person feels about you. You can't control someone else's feelings, and you can't make them love you or respect you.
You can leave when it's time to go however. Go with some self-respect. Try again when you're ready.
