Hello all...

Today I had a rather unfortunate incident wilst visiting the little boys room. After I finished my business I was in a hurry because the phone was ringing and somehow when I was putting mr johnson back in place a portion of his skin got caught in the teeth down by the zipper head.

It didn't bleed really at all, and I have been putting some hydrogen peroxide on it since them every few hours.

Is there anything else I need to do to keep the little bugger from getting infected or anything else?

btw...I have never had sex and don't plan on it until the wedding so I'm sure abstaining from sex will be no problem til he's healed up and ready to march into battle again :)

If it's on the skin and not the glans, use a little triple antibiotic cream. If it's on the glans and its not more than a tiny scratch, just keep it clean. The peroxide is actually a bad thing for tiny cuts. It causes the capillaries to shrink and close, which delays healing. Don't use iodine on the glans either.

If you just wash it with an antibacterial soap or use a betadine scrub, you'll be good to go in a few days, or whenever the wedding is.

Also please note when using hydrogen peroxide, It is also not so good with deeper wounds, due to the fact that it does its job so well that it tends to also destroy healthy tissues inside the wound. Its best just to irrigate thoroughly with sterile water. Putting a bandage on that area I must say may be difficult, and if you cannot manage it, just washing thoroughly with anti bacterial soap a few times a day will due just fine.

Thanks for the advice everyone :)

I've been washing it with some mild soap and water for now and have stopped using the peroxide I was using before. Of course it's still a tad bit sore but not as bad as it could be :D

At least it wasn't as bad as the movie "Something about Mary" :D
