Since this is the "How To" section, this thread brings up a good question. As one poster pointed out, when a woman shaves her pubic hair, it sometimes results in a red rash and bumps; however, not every woman has this problem. Questions for the ladies out there who shave their pubic hair regularly: How do you avoid rash and bumps? When a man with sensitive skin shaves his beard, he can use after shave, (with an alcohol base), to kill the bacteria that causes rash and redness, but how does a woman shave such a sensitive area, and avoid this problem?

I've read this thread with great laughter, though for the people involved it's apparently not funny. I, like some other posters, agree with the no hair from the eyes down, for men, or women. Give me the swimmers look on a man any day over Sasquatch.

I shave not because of porn, I don't watch it, nor because of a partner, I don't have one, I shave for me, because I like to feel smooth and clean. And ones that blather on about washing, sweat builds up even if you shower daily, which I do, don't even get me started on guys with hairy asses, all I will say is imagine wiping peanut butter out of a shag carpet, I'll stop there. It's CLEANER! It takes less than 5 min, what is the big deal? I wouldn't go down on some ungroomed werewolf either.

I can tell you right now, a blade razor is not for me. I have tried it and gotten red, itchy bumps that cause much itching and grief. If you can without such issues, lucky you, go for it. I have answered this many times on forums from girls, and guys, asking what can they do to avoid the bumps.

After you shower and are dried off, apply very liberal amounts of cornstarch baby powder, it's much, much finer than regular baby powder, apply it to the entire area to be shaved. Standing in the shower is best so excess powder will fall into the shower/tub bottom and can be rinsed away. Get an electric razor and shave through the powder. Shaving this way causes no skin drag, no chance of cuts, nicks, and pretty well zero irritation.
